Spicy Paneer Bhurji


  Ingredients
  • Paneer – 200 gm, grated or crumbled.
  • Oil – 1 Tbsp.
  • Onion – 1 medium, finely chopped.
  • Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp.
  • Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped.
  • Green Chilies – 1, finely chopped.
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tbsp.
  • Garam Masala – 1/4 tbsp.
  • Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tbsp.
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp.
  • Salt – to taste.
  • Coriander leaves,chopped.
  Method
  • Heat Oil in a medium pan on medium heat.
  • Add Onions and fry till onions turn golden brown.Add Ginger-Garlic paste and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add Tomatoes and Green Chilies and cook til the tomatoes are mashed well and cooked.
  • Now add all the powders, mix well and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add Paneer and salt, mix until Paneer is well coated with the masala. Cover and allow the paneer to cook for 2-3 minutes, if needed add few spoons of water.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or chapati.
