Creamy Grits With Eggs

Creamy-grits-with-eggs-quick egg recipe

  • 4 Large eggs, boiled.
  • 3 Cups milk.
  • 4 Tbsp honey.
  • 1 Cup stone-ground grits.
  • 1 Cup cheddar cheese, shredded.
  • 1 Cup Monterey jack cheese, shredded.
  • 1/2 Cup grated parmesan cheese.
  • 1/2 Cup finely chopped green onions.
  • 1/4 Tbsp freshly ground pepper.
  • 2 Pinch of black salt powder.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Bring the 3 cup of milk to a boil in a saucepan on medium-high heat. Whisk in the grits, stirring constantly. Add 2 pinch of black salt powder. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook, whisking often, until thick and creamy. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stir constantly.
  • Stir cheeses into grits and season with salt and pepper.
  • Place grits in four small plates and draw a good design on it to look good. After this, pour 1 tbsp honey on the grits and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
  • Top each with a peeled egg. Garnish with chopped green onions.
  • Serve with french fries, fried beans, bread toasts.
