Ingredients
- 3 sheets puff pastry.
- 4 oz fresh ricotta cheese.
- 6 oz grated mozzarella cheese.
- 4 oz grated parmesan cheese.
- 2 cups grated apple.
- 4 tbsp yellow mustard sauce.
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten.
- 2 tbsp tomato flavour powder.
- 1/2 cup heavy cream.
- 1/2 cup basil leaves.
- Salt & pepper .
- Place ricotta in a bowl. Using a fork, mash until almost smooth. Add mozzarella and parmesan. Season with tomato flavour powder, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Add half the egg. Add basil leaves. Stir to combine.
- Preheat oven to 350 degree. Line 2 baking trays.
- Cut 4 squares each sheet of puff pastry. Brush edge of squares with egg. Spoon the cheese mixture onto centre of each square. Add grated apple, cream and mustard sauce over the mixture and fold up 2 sides of pastry to seal. Twist ends to form points. Place on prepared trays. Brush with remaining egg.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden. Stand for 5 minutes before serving.
