Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ltr milk.
- 4 oz almond almond.
- 1 1/2 tsp aniseed.
- 4 oz pistachios, blanched and peeled.
- 2 tsp poppy seeds.
- 8 cardamom pods.
- 1 tsp dried watermelon or cantaloupes seeds.
- 1 tsp black pepper.
- 3 tsp rose petals, dried or fresh.
- 1/2 cup sugar.
- Roast aniseeds, pistachios, cardomom, dried watermelon seeds, pepper, almond in a pan to relize there flavour.
- Now take a pan with 1/2 litre water in it, add sugar in it and let the sugar deslove in it properly then add all the roasted spices and soak it properly for atleast 2 hrs, after that blend the soaked spice and peel of the skin of almonds and grind it along with other ingredients to a fine paste.
- Bring milk to a boil in a pan. Add saffron and mix. When the milk begins to boil add the paste to the milk and mix well. Simmer for three to four minutes and Strain liquid through muslin cloth, refrigrated it for 30 or 45 mins.
- Serve it chilled and garnish it will rose petals.
