Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk.
- 1/2 cup water.
- 4 oz butter, cut into chunks.
- 6 oz Parmesan cheese, grated.
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated.
- 1 cup mayonnaise.
- 2 tsp fresh basil, minced.
- 2 tsp dried oregano, minced.
- 4 clove garlic, minced.
- 4 large eggs.
- 1 1/2 cups flour.
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt.
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In a medium saucepan, bring butter, salt, milk and water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add flour and stir with wooden spoon until dough forms. Remove from heat and let cool 2 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating each egg in completely before adding the next one.
- Mix in the half of herbs, garlic and parmesan cheese just until incorporated.
- Lightly grease a large baking sheet.
- In a medium bowl, mix together remaining parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise, basil, oregano, chives and garlic.
- Now take a 1 tablespoon of the dough and make halve using hands, put the cheese mixture into halve and make a balls and arrange balls in a single layer on baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven 10 to 12 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown. Serve warm.
